The Ultra-Chron Carbon retains its signature 43mm cushion case with a 14mm thickness, staying true to the original 1968 model. The case is crafted from unidirectional carbon fiber and epoxy resin, heated and compressed to create a unique pattern on every timepiece. Thanks to its ultra-lightweight carbon construction, the watch weighs under 80 grams, including its strap. A titanium bezel with an aluminum insert, engraved with a 10-minute scale, enhances the modern appeal of this reimagined classic.
High-Precision Movement
At its core, the Ultra-Chron Carbon is powered by Longines’ exclusive Caliber L.836.6, operating at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz). The movement features a silicon balance spring, enhancing resistance to magnetic fields and shocks while ensuring long-term precision. Additionally, the watch is TIMELAB-certified in Geneva, undergoing a rigorous 15-day testing process across multiple positions and temperatures to guarantee optimal accuracy.

The anthracite dial, finished with a sandblasted texture, exudes understated elegance. Along with applied silver indices, the gray PVD-coated hour and minute hands complement the sophisticated matte surface.
