Things to Expect from Watches & Wonders 2025

Watch collectors worldwide can anticipate notable changes and fresh highlights at Watches & Wonders 2025. For insights into what to expect next year, delve into the details of this celebrated event below.

1. Broader representations of brands

Watches & Wonders 2025  promises to be the largest yet, featuring 60 participating brands, including newcomers like Bulgari, Christiaan van der Klaauw, Genus, Kross Studio, and MeisterSinger.

Returning brands include Cartier, Rolex, Patek Philippe, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger‑Lecoultre, along with more niche names such as A. Lange & Söhne, HYT, and Armin Strom.

However, former exhibitor Beauregard will not be participating. This expanded lineup reflects the event’s evolution into a more inclusive platform for both industry giants and independent artisans.

The inclusion of Bulgari, which previously focused on other events like LVMH Watch Week and Geneva Watch Days, highlights the growing prominence of Watches and Wonders.

This raises questions about whether holdout brands like Audemars Piguet, Breitling, or Swatch Group members will join in future editions, possibly making the event even more comprehensive by 2026.

2. Changes in leaderships

Major changes in the leadership structure of Watches and Wonders are set to bring fresh perspectives to the event.

For the first time, Cyrille Vigneron, the CEO of Cartier, will assume the position of chairman, succeeding Jean-Frédéric Dufour, who had held the role as the CEO of Rolex.

This shift in leadership underscores the evolving dynamics of the fair, as Vigneron brings his wealth of experience in the luxury watch sector to the table.

In another significant development, the Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation Board has welcomed some of the most influential names in the watch and luxury fashion industries.

Chanel, Hermès, and LVMH, three of the most prominent luxury brands in the world, have now joined the board. This move broadens the event’s representation and influence.

3. Introduction of VIP passes

For the first time, Watches and Wonders is offering VIP Passes priced at CHF 550, approximately IDR 9,400,000 or SGD 750.

These exclusive passes provide a host of luxury benefits, including priority access through a dedicated entrance, access to a VIP lounge with complimentary meals and refreshments, private guided tours, and exclusive product presentations.

Additionally, VIP pass holders will enjoy dedicated parking and receive a commemorative gift to mark the occasion.

Timing and Venue for Watches & Wonders 2025

Watches and Wonders 2025 will return to its iconic location in Geneva, Switzerland, at the Palexpo Exhibition Centre, conveniently located next to Geneva Airport.

Those familiar with the city’s event calendar will recognize Palexpo as the former host of the Geneva International Motor Show.

However, after its return from a COVID hiatus in 2024, the motor show was unfortunately canceled, marking a significant loss for both the city and its automotive community.

This prestigious watch fair will take place from April 1 to April 7, 2025, with public access available from April 5 to April 7. Tickets for general admission to the public days will go on sale starting February 11, 2025.

As a watch enthusiast, you can stay up to date with the latest releases and industry developments by following Watches & Wonders 2025.
